How does the Alix Lumina Pro work?
The Pico laser sends ultra-short light pulses (one trillionth of a second) into the skin, which shatter the target pigment (such as melanin in pigment spots or color pigments in tattoos) with high precision. Because the energy only hits the skin for an extremely short time, this reduces the risk of heat exposure and tissue damage. The laser breaks down the pigments into tiny particles that are then removed by the body's own immune system.
Standard applicator: 3 wavelengths in 1: 1064 nm, 532 nm, 755 nm
Optional applicators: Honeycomb 755nm: Skin brightening, skin rejuvenation
1064nm Fractional: Removal of deep pigments, darker spots, chloasma
1320nm Big Spot: Carbon peeling, skin lightening, suitable for removing chloasma, spots, and large areas.
